Profile
There are 2 events to select from: gruelling 11.3 km run over Nail Can Hill as well as a 4.5 km run/walk on less steep terrain for the young and young at heart.
The main run which has had up to 1900 runners is now organised by The Rotary Club of Albury West with all funds raised going to local organisations.
Course Description
The route consists mainly of fire access tracks with short sections of gravel and bitumen roads.
The Nail Can Hill Run is 11.3km with a mix of uphill climbs, flat sections, and downhills. The first part is a challenge with a 2km flat section followed by a steep climb. The middle section is more enjoyable with easier ups and downs. There’s a final climb at 8km before a steep descent. The last stretch is mostly downhill to the finish. The total elevation gain is less than the descent, so enjoy the final push to the finish line!
