Description:

Starting Point: Begin your run on the paved path at Ripples Chowder Bay, near Georges Head.
East on Path & Chowder Bay Rd. (2 km): Head east on the path, followed by a section on Chowder Bay Rd. Enjoy the scenic route with pretty trees and occasional ocean glimpses.
Middle Head Rd. & Optional Detour (2.5 km): Turn right onto Middle Head Rd. at the 2km mark. Consider a side trip down the trail to Cobblers Beach if you’re feeling adventurous. You’ll then return southward on Middle Head Rd.
Balmoral Park & Beach Esplanade (4.5 km): Turn inland on a path leading to Balmoral Park. Descend to the Esplanade for a scenic 1km jaunt along the golden sands of Balmoral Beach.
Balmoral Park & George’s Lookout (7.5 km): Return on the dirt trail through Balmoral Park, heading towards George’s Lookout. Be prepared for a hilly section in this final kilometer, rewarded by panoramic views.

Public restrooms and water fountains are scattered throughout the route, particularly near park entrances and Balmoral Beach.
