NT City2Surf: Darwin’s Iconic Running Tradition
The NT Santos City2Surf is so much more than just a race; it’s a Darwin institution! This annual event brings together the community for a day of fitness, fun, and celebration.

2026 will be the 53rd running of the event.

Choose Your Challenge on an AIMS certified course:

• The Traditional 12km: Start on the Darwin Esplanade and wind your way through the city streets towards the finish line at Nightcliff Pool.
• Minisurfer 4km: Perfect for newcomers, younger runners, and those wanting a shorter distance. Choose to run or walk while still soaking up the finish line excitement!
• Marathon4Kids Mile (1.6km): Get the kids involved in this fun, untimed run!
