The Real Insurance Sydney Harbour 10k & 5k is an annual running event set against the backdrop of Sydney’s iconic harbour.

The 2024 event took place on July 28, attracting over 5,000 participants who started at The Rocks and traversed a flat, fast course along the harbour foreshore, passing landmarks such as Hickson Road, Cockle Bay, Darling Harbour, and Barangaroo Reserve, finishing near the Overseas Passenger Terminal at Circular Quay.

The event offers both 10k and 5k distances, catering to runners and walkers of all ages and abilities. The flat course is ideal for beginners aiming to complete their first fun run, as well as seasoned runners seeking to achieve personal best times. Participants can also choose to fundraise for the Australian Cancer Research Foundation, the event’s partner charity.
