St Lucia parkrun is renowned for its welcoming, inclusive vibe. Whether you’re aiming for a personal best, walking with a pram, or enjoying a social stroll, everyone is encouraged to participate at their own pace. Dogs on leads and children accompanied by adults are welcome. After the event, many participants gather for a coffee at St Lucy’s Café at the UQ Tennis Centre, fostering a strong sense of community .
Course Description
The course is a single 5km out and back loop on a mix of dirt track and trail paths, weaving through the leafy riverside setting of Sir William Macgregor Drive. While generally flat and accessible, sections may accumulate mud, leaves, or puddles after rain, so appropriate footwear is recommended . The route is shared with other path users, and marshals or signage help guide participants along the way.
