Just the best running group you could ever ask for! I’ve never felt so at home when I’m with these people ❤️
After having “get back to running” on my goals for years (plus a pandemic), I wanted to regain my health realising I was responsible for getting myself into a bad place.
I started running and figured it would be best to get some help from a trainer to not hurt myself. When I found Running 4 Happiness Project in 2021, I didn’t realise how life changing the impact would be. The clear information and advice shared really helped me get in the right mindset. At my first one on one training session I was so nervous that I wasn’t good enough at running to be there. However, Sean was so encouraging and supportive of me that I kept going. Three years later I’ve achieved goals I never thought possible thanks to R4HP.
Whether you are looking for one on one coaching or group training, signing up with R4HP is the best decision you can make in your running journey. You will meet the incredible coaches, Sean and Kat plus an amazing group of individuals that will also support and welcome you into the R4HP running family.
I have been training with R4HP for several years now, and I deeply appreciate their personalised approach, unwavering support, and their ability to work with a slow runner like myself. Coaches Sean and Kat have a talent for attracting the best people, creating an inclusive and encouraging environment.
Their dedication goes beyond just training; they foster a sense of community and belonging that feels like family. The camaraderie and mutual encouragement among the members make every session enjoyable and motivating. Joining R4HP has been the best decision I’ve made for my fitness and mental health.
I ran a lot as a younger person when I played a lot of netball but also had some very tired knees and ankles. I tried getting back into it but lacked motivation. I joined the crew hoping a regular run would inspire me and boy did they not let me down. Sean’s energy is endless and Kay’s organisation impeccable. They are the dynamic duo of run training and get me out there nearly every week.
I’m a middle-aged, chocolate addict who was extremely hesitant and self-conscious about joining a running group, but I should never have worried. Sean and Kat are super supportive and inclusive, and they make sure all their sessions are fun (as much as working your butt off can be!). For those out there that believe they’re “not really a runner” or “I wouldn’t fit in with those real runners” this is the training crew for you. Sean and Kat don’t care if you’re a ten-time marathon legend or a 5km first-timer, they’ll work with you on whatever your goal is. So, I’m about to sign up for my third training group with R4HP and the fact that there’s so many other familiar faces that keep coming back to R4HP training groups is testament in itself.
I wanted to get into running, but being quite injury prone, I wanted to do it with the support of a coach and people who knew what they were doing. Running 4 Happiness have always been so supportive. Sean and Kat are the best coaches, always ready with advice and motivation. They’ve built a great community around them and I couldn’t recommend them more highly
After some time away from running, I realised I still had some unfinished business and some goals I wanted to achieve. Feeling like a coach and others to train with would be better than flying blind, I picked up the phone and had a chat with Sean and the rest is history.
I’ve met some awesome people, enjoyed some tough but rewarding sessions, and feel like I’m kicking goals in a really motivating and supportive environment. Couldn’t recommend them highly enough. Great for all shapes, sizes and speeds. Just a great bunch!
I’ve been a part-time, adhoc, never really trained properly runner for years and felt the same way about running as I do about the dentist- necessary but painful. Since I joined Running 4 Happiness I’ve improved my form, strength, speed and endurance and actually enjoy running. Turns out running with an awesome gang of people, having great coaches, and training properly for events makes it really fun. I also appreciate the flexible nature of the R4H programs, which means they fit into my busy life.
Running for Hapiness Project has become my other family. I’ve recently started running again and this group keeps me motivated. The support and friendliness from everyone is brilliant. Sean & Kat are great coaches and nothing is too much trouble for Sean to work out for you. The frequent group sessions are great to keep me on track and setting goals!
I love Running 4 Happiness Project, and the coaches Sean and Kat. They’ve been a huge support in my running journey and keeping me motivated. I can say with certainty that if it wasn’t for them I wouldn’t be where I am today. I love our R4HP family!
