This scenic loop showcases the best of Geelong, incorporating the waterfront, Johnstone Park, and the Pakington Street shopping district. You can join the loop at any point for flexibility.

Description (counter-clockwise):

Begin on the waterfront across from Deakin University and head north along Western Beach Rd. Turn left onto Ginn St., crossing the highway. Take another left onto Pakington St. Enjoy a leisurely run or walk through the vibrant Pakington Street shopping district for roughly 1 km.

Turn left at Aberdeen St. until you reach Fenwick St. Here, you’ll enter Johnstone Park for a refreshing green space section. Continue south on Malop St. until you reach Eastern Park. Finally, complete the loop along the scenic waterfront path.

Add-Ons:

Extend your run by 2-3 km by heading down Latrobe Terrace to explore Kardinia Park, Geelong’s famous sporting precinct. Be prepared for a gradual climb back to the city center.
