The Coast Park Trail caters to runners of all abilities with its diverse terrain. Choose between the paved trail or enjoy running directly on the firm sand along various beach sections. Numerous cafes along the route are perfect for a well-deserved post-run break.
Popular Routes:
Glenelg to Brighton (South): An 8-9km out-and-back route from Glenelg Pier, following the coast southwards to Brighton Beach. This route allows you to experience the Brighton Beach Sculptures by the Sea exhibition during summer. You can extend this route by another 2km to Seacliff Beach, with a short on-beach section.
Glenelg to Henley Beach (North): Explore the coastline north of Glenelg. Reach West Beach after 4.7km or continue for another 3.2km to arrive at Henley Beach. These routes create out-and-back options of 9.4km and 15.8km respectively.
