The Kirra parkrun is a free, weekly, 5km event that is open to everyone, regardless of age, ability, or experience.
The Kirra parkrun takes place alongside one of Gold Coast’s most famous beaches. The course starts at Gilltrap Park near the surf club and takes runners up and down the scenic esplanade.
Here is some key information about parkrun:
- It is held every Saturday morning
- It is a timed event over 5km, but there is no pressure to finish quickly
- Participants can run, jog or walk the course
- It is free to participate, but registration is required
- It is organised by volunteers
