1 Review on “Sydney Olympic Park”
Take this route if you want to be surrounded by traffic. You’ll seriously lose your rhythm going down Hill Road and crossing Bennelong Parkway 🤯 or worse, get hit by a car. Please don’t die on your run!
Follow other runners and head towards Newington Armory. 5km run from Silverwater Bridge and back or extend it to a 10km run by doing a loop around Newington Armory. Head over Silverwater Bridge to complete the Meadowbank loop or make it into a 10km, 20km run by running along the Parramatta River Valley cycleway. You can also run the three wharves from Parramatta – Rydalmere – Sydney Olympic Park via Silverwater Bridge. This would be a car free/traffic light free route due to pedestrian or shared paths.
Until they fix the mess that is Bennelong Parkway, this route ain’t worth it. Bennelong Bridge is too busy as well so you’ll slow down here. Pick one side of the bay to run and complete it. Two stars for the scenery of the bay. All else is pretty dire.
