Profile
The University Loop, nestled within Adelaide’s Park Lands, is a distinctive 2.2 kilometre gravel circuit known for its “frypan” shape. Popular among runners, fitness groups, and early-morning workout enthusiasts, this loop offers a scenic and practical running option.
Location: Park 10, Adelaide, South Australia
Distance: 2.2 kilometres
Surface: Unsealed gravel
Highlights:
- Scenic parklands setting with a tree-lined route
- Fitness stations (outdoor workout equipment)
- Distance markers every 200 metres
Located between Mackinnon Parade and War Memorial Drive, the loop is approximately a mile from Adelaide’s CBD.
