The University Loop is a popular 2.2km gravel circuit located within Adelaide’s Park Lands, specifically in Park 10. This loop, known for its distinctive “frypan” shape, is a favorite among runners and fitness groups, especially for early morning workouts.

Description:
Located between Mackinnon Parade and War Memorial Drive (approximately 1 mile from the Adelaide CBD), the University Loop offers a challenging yet scenic running experience. While unsealed, the gravel surface is well-maintained. Keep in mind that the gravel can be loose in some areas, so be mindful of your footing. The loop is lined with trees, providing welcome shade during Adelaide’s warm summers.
Bonus: The circuit features a series of outdoor fitness stations, perfect for incorporating strength training into your run.
